What we build

Convert a room. A dining room, den, or garage bay becomes a main-floor bedroom.
Add a bathroom. A full bath with a curbless shower, built next to the new bedroom where the plumbing can reach.
Add on. When there is no room to convert, a bedroom and bath addition off the back or side of the house.
Move the laundry. A stacked washer and dryer on the main floor, often in the new bathroom or a hall closet.
Wide doors and flush floors. 36 inch doorways and no thresholds between the new rooms and the rest of the house.
Permits and engineering. Handled by us, including the structural work on an addition.

Is it cheaper to convert a room or build an addition?

Converting is nearly always less expensive because the roof, floor, and walls exist. An addition makes sense when the house has no room to give up.

Where can a new bathroom go?

Close to existing plumbing costs the least. A bath next to the kitchen or an existing half bath is the usual answer.

Can we do this in stages?

Yes. Many families convert the bedroom first and add the bath the following year.
